Preparing for an Investigation

These are some simple yet important things you should remember whenever you are venturing out for an Investigation.
1) If your sick or feeling ill then please DON'T venture out. You need to be fully alert and able to react should anything occur paranormal or otherwise which can put you and your teammates safety at risk.
2) Always let another member who will not be attending the investigation know exactly where you are going & once you arrive at the location contact them to let them know you have arrived.
3) Always bring extra flashlights / headlamps & extra batteries
4) Always bring drinks & snacks of some sort incase you are unable to leave the location in the event of car trouble etc.
5) Before leaving your home / meeting area always check your equipment to make sure it's working properly & all settings are where you want them to be.
6) Once you arrive at your designated location put New batteries in your equipment & double check working conditions & settings
7) Join together as a group & ask for protection by praying, shielding etc. & designate a Team Leader
8) If you are working individually, make sure you are able to stay in contact with the other members & have a specific time and place to meet after a certain amount of time to check on each other
9) Always keep everyone's safety in mind, if you feel it's unsafe notify the other members and tell them your concerns. Remember there will always be other investigations safety should be your number 1 priority
